Hi! I’m Louisa.
By day I have a 9-5 job working in marketing. Outside of work, I’ve always been more more inclined to do sports and outdoor pursuits (I climb and surf in my spare time), but somewhere along the way, I realised how much I craved the satisfaction of a creative outlet.
Something to get messy and to be able to make things as how I wanted to make them.
Having taken a beginner’s pottery course last April, I found myself absolutely hooked on the craft of moulding clay on the wheel. Progression felt slow, but I found myself wanting to master different forms and different skills. And so you’ve found me on my ceramic journey, looking to explore within the silica realm and to see what I’m able to make.
My pieces are all handmade, crafted with care. I am not a production potter and do not aspire to be one so you’ll find no two pieces are the same. They all have their own personalities and character even if they share a similar style and colour combination with other pieces.
