Hello! I’m alive! (Sept 2026)

It’s that time of year again when the days get shorter and sparkly lights turn on as we settle in for the arrival of autumn and winter. All that absence of sunlight definitely makes me more reflective and I’m realising how little I’ve been able to put time towards ceramics this year.

Having said that, I haven’t given up completely on the craft and I’m still trying to make time for it here and there. And slowly, very slowly, there is a stockpile growing. There’s not as much as I would like to have made by this point in time, but my god there are some beautiful pieces (if I do say so myself).

In terms of opening up opportunities for you to buy one of these pieces, my studio is planning to hold a one-day market on Saturday 21st November which I’ve signed up for. That will be my first ever market – how very exciting! So if you’re in Bristol and surrounding areas and need plans for that day, come on down to Clay Shed. I’ll post more details closer to the date, and there will inevitably be updates posted on Instagram by myself and the studio’s account.

Due to the relatively small collection that I have, I will hold off from listing anything on Etsy until after the market, but I may also hold back a couple of pieces so that I can add to and relaunch my store. I’ll send updates in due course.

For now, I hope you’re doing well! I hope life is treating you kindly. And I hope to see you again soon.
